Finalists unveiled for Australian Space Awards 2025

Space Connect has revealed over 160 finalists for the highly anticipated Australian Space Awards 2025.

The sixth annual Australian Space Awards 2025 celebrates the leading professionals and businesses advancing the development of Australia’s space industry.

The unparalleled awards program brings together the best of the best across the Australian space sector to recognise leading players for industry excellence.

There were 11 individual and 16 group submission-based categories on offer to ensure recognition of all stakeholders across the space industry.

The Australian Space Awards acknowledges major listed organisations and corporates servicing Australia’s space sector, SMEs, start-ups, academic institutions, and associations driving innovation and accelerating the industry forward.

Some of the finalists include professionals from the University of Southern Queensland, CSIRO, Lunar Outpost Oceania, Australian Space Agency, and Swinburne University of Technology.

Finalists were selected from a range of professionals and businesses supporting Australia’s space economy across fields including launch, telecommunications, satellites, energy, mining and transport, as well as defence, agriculture, disaster and water management.
