Fleet Space Technologies: We are Explorers Fleet Space Technologies is Australia's leading space company. Fleet operates from a state-of-the-art HQ in Adelaide, South Australia, and has recently expanded internationally to the US. These are two global centres of excellence in space and advanced aerospace technologies. At Fleet, we are Explorers with a mission to connect the Earth, Moon and Mars. Fleet designs, builds and operates a constellation of small satellites which deliver universal connectivity for the betterment of everyone on earth. The team has rapidly grown to over 80 employees in the last 6 months. Following an oversubscribed Series B funding round, Fleet will continue to build a constellation of 288 satellites. Having already launched seven commercial satellites, Fleet Space is working towards a fully 3D printed satellite, Alpha, along with the rest of the company’s pioneering Centauri Satellites. In May 2022, Fleet Space launched their most recent satellite, Centauri 5, through SpaceX. Fleet is also a pioneer in new manufacturing techniques. The Centauri-5 satellite used a 3D printed all metal patch antenna created using Fleet’s in-house 3D printing capabilities. Fleet’s Alpha Satellite will be the world’s first fully 3D printed satellite weighing around 40kg, measuring 600 x 600 x 120mm and will contribute the most to their 288+ satellite constellation. Fleet Space is working towards mass manufacturing of satellites and will establish a satellite Hyper Factory at the landmark Australia Space Park development. Recently, Fleet launched ExoSphere, a solution for the mineral exploration industry providing lightning fast, highly scalable 3D mapping solutions to pinpoint minerals and increase accuracy in drilling targets. This cutting-edge technology is already helping the world transition to clean-air mobility technologies by creating a faster, more sustainable and less expensive route to finding critical mineral deposits. ExoSphere is an end-to-end service offered to mineral exploration customers to decrease the time it takes to find a deposit. Fleet’s sensors, the Geodes, are deployed in a survey area and leverage real-time passive seismic methods to ‘scan’ the land beneath searching for minerals. This is enabled through unobtrusive Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) which listens to seismic waves. This is then rapidly processed and transmitted through Fleet’s low power satellite network. Since announcing ExoSphere in March 2022, Fleet has signed contracts with over 20 customers based in Australia and North America including Oz Minerals, Core Lithium and Talon. Fleet’s ExoSphere technology is contributing to solve the pressing global priority to decarbonise mobility fleetspace.com 04 and find more than $13trillion USD worth of minerals required for the energy transition to help meet global net zero priorities. As a company, Fleet always pushes the boundaries of exploration further and as a result, Fleet plays a crucial role in the Moon and Mars initiative. Resources and technologies that Fleet are creating here on Earth will be used for exploring and surveying the Moon and Mars to help understand how human life may be supported there.

Hypersonix Launch Systems is a unique Australian aerospace engineering company specialising in scramjets and hypersonic vehicles for Defence and Commercial applications.
Hypersonix unique core technology is the SPARTAN scramjet engine: a fixed geometry (no moving parts), self-igniting, hydrogen powered, 3-D printed, reusable scramjet capable of speeds from Mach 5 to Mach 12. The engine can be turned off and on at will, thus enabling unique trajectories.
The engine is reliable, high performance, and can be manufactured at scale using 3D printing of high temperature alloys or high temperature composites. This is in line with Australia’s modern manufacturing / sovereign capability initiatives.
Hypersonix has developed DART AE: a 3D printed high temperature alloy hypersonic test platform, that can be boosted using a sounding rocket, has a speed of Mach 7, a range of 1000km, and a 20kg payload. DART AE first launch is scheduled for 2024. This system is designed to be used to test Defence detect and defend capabilities against hypersonic platforms. It can also be used to carry payloads and test their operation at hypersonic speeds.
Hypersonix has been awarded the Hypersonic and High-Cadence Airborne Testing Capabilities (HyCAT) of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) in the US in March 2023.
Hypersonix has also developed Delta-Velos, a responsive satellite launch system. Delta-Velos is a fully reusable 2nd stage in a 3 stage to orbit small satellite LEO launch system. Delta-Velos uses the atmosphere for lift and oxygen, so offers performance advantages over traditional rocket-based systems.

Earth Observation Australia Inc. (EOA) is an association for ALL people who collect and use Earth observation data in Australia.

The eight ASDA co-founders include leaders from across the Australian space industry representing technology, higher education, government, and consultancy. Alongside supporting senior leaders in the space sector to take steps towards equal access and inclusion, ASDA aims to minimise the barriers that marginalised groups face in entering or staying in space careers.
